For over four decades, the Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival has been a cornerstone of the American roots music scene. Held each June in the scenic hills of Northeastern, Pennsylvania, this legendary gathering brings together bluegrass lovers, pickers, jammers, and fans from across the country for four unforgettable days of music, community, and connection.
Whether you're a lifelong bluegrass fan or just looking for an unforgettable experience, Wind Gap in June is where you’ll find it.
A Tradition of Excellence
Since its founding in 1982, Wind Gap has built a reputation for stellar lineups, welcoming vibes, and family-friendly fun. From Grammy-winning legends to today’s breakout stars, our stages have hosted the best in bluegrass, Americana, and acoustic roots.
More Than a Festival — A Musical Experience
Wind Gap is more than just great performances. It’s a celebration of the bluegrass lifestyle:
Workshops & Jams: Learn from the pros, join a hosted jam, or just sit in the shade and soak it all in.
Kids Bluegrass Academy: A free, fun, and inspiring weekend program for young musicians — culminating in a Sunday stage performance.
Stay the Weekend
Make it a full experience with onsite camping. Bring your camper or pitch a tent. Our site setting offers plenty of space, hot showers, and a chance to wake up to birdsong and banjo rolls. Whether you’re up late jamming or up early for coffee and sunrises, you’ll be surrounded by music, nature, and a community that feels like family.
Why Wind Gap?
Because here, the music never stops.
Because here, you’re not just in the crowd — you’re part of the tradition.
Because here, we keep the spirit of bluegrass alive — one note, one song, one gathering at a time.
Come experience the magic of Wind Gap for yourself. This isn’t just a festival. It’s a homecoming.
OVERVIEW
Mountain View Park offers a scenic escape in eastern Pennsylvania, making it the perfect backdrop for a weekend of music, community, and outdoor fun. Camping is included with a weekend ticket. However, single-day ticket holders do not have access to camping. A limited number of electric passes are available for $50 per vehicle for the entire festival. These sold out weeks in advance last year, and we expect the same this year—so grab yours early! While our campground’s electrical system has seen major upgrades, it’s still designed for light use only. High-power appliances like air conditioners, electric stoves, and even some coffee makers may not be supported. Electricity is intended for essentials like charging batteries, running CPAP machines, powering minimal lighting, and operating small shower pumps.
If you're using electricity, every vehicle must have its own pass—even if you're sharing a hookup.
Generators are allowed but must be reasonably quiet. Festival staff will determine if a generator is too loud for the camping area.
Get ready for a weekend of great music, good company, and the perfect festival camping experience!
